Book II

Book II explores the relationship between the young Hadrian and the up-and-coming Trajan, as Domitian's reign progresses. Hadrian follows his education in Rome, while campaigns against the Dacians are threatening the Empire and slugs are threatening the radish patch. Eventually, Hadrian sees his sister Domitia Paulina married off to the much older Servianus.

The linguistic content of Book II includes nouns in declensions 1 to 5, with all major pronouns. Adjectives and adverbs are given in different stages of comparison. Verbs are given in the present tense, in all both active and passive, indicative and subjunctive moods, from conjugations 1 to 4.

Should you wish to make use of Graeculus in your school, please email me to discuss it. I am looking for partners who will contribute to the accuracy, development and presentation of the material, who will engage to support the project in return for free of charge access to the materials. As the project reaches a more commercial cycle in the next few years, I reserve the right to renegotiate this agreement.

I will make Book II available to those who express an interest in seeing it, if they agree to abide by the terms outlined above.
